KONI STR.T shocks are ideal replacements for the worn original-equipment Mazda shocks. Designed for everyday street use, the STR.T line combines improved performance and economical pricing for an outstanding value package. These shocks can be used with the stock Mazda springs or the Racing Beat lowering springs.
The STR.T shocks are intended to provide a modest upgrade over the stock shocks without sacrificing ride quality and comfort. Not as aggressively tuned as the KONI Sport shocks, these STR.T units will provide a more “firm” ride than the OE units and a noted improvement in handling.
If you are looking to further upgrade additional suspension components, use your car for more aggressive driving, attend track-day events, etc.., you may want to consider instead upgrading to KONI Sport shocks, an user-adjustable shock designed for more aggressive performance driving.
These shocks are suitable for use on cars equipped with antilock brakes (ABS). Parts indicated apply to all 1990-2005 MX-5's
