This 1-1/8-inch OD tubular sway bar (1/8-inch ID wall) is designed to improve the handling characteristics of your MX-5 for use on the street and track.(Note: Our 1994-97 tubular bar is designed with one (1) end link mounting hole and differs from the 90-93 tubular bar only in the location of this mounting hole. The later 99-05 bar is shown in the above photo.) By design, the Racing Beat tubular bar is substantially more rigid than the stock 3/4-inch bar, but this bar weighs just 5.5 lbs ! (As compared to the stock bar – 6 lbs.) This bar has been designed to be 1.3 times stronger than our solid sway bar. Each bar comes supplied with replacement urethane bushings, a pack of specially designed bushing lubricant, and installation instructions.
