Designed to retain enough mass for comfortable standing starts, this 13 lb Exedy Mazda 6 flywheel is ideal for street use yet it is lighter to afford an improvement in low speed acceleration and to make shifting much smoother.This special order flywheel is not available in Europe and will be specially imported if ordered.

For street use this lightweight steel flywheel not only allows the engine to accelerate more rapidly but allows for quicker and more precise shifting.

Precision Machining Precision CNC-machined from a solid one-piece billet chromoly steel forging, the Exedy flywheel features a fully-machined integrated ring gear for seamless starter operation. Installation Hardware Exedy Flywheel kits include the flywheel unit and the appropriate mounting hardware, which includes the appropriate tensile-strength hardware to attach the pressure plate to the flywheel.


DO NOT use other aftermarket flywheel mounting kits with the Exedy flywheels. We strongly recommend replacing the throwout bearing during any clutch work to ensure trouble free performance. Also, we recommend replacing the transmission front and rear seal kit when re-installing the transmission to reduce the possibility of leakage. Actual product image not shown in photo.
