Racing Beat's Type I Nose Kit for the 1990-97 MX-5. In addressing the need to beef-up the factory's rather subdued styling lines of the MX-5, reshaping of the front end easily offers the greatest impact. To this end, our Type I Nose Kit presents a stronger jaw line, a better-defined mouth, and functional brake scoops. All this is accomplished while maintaining the necessary appearance balance front-to-rear.
The Type I Kit is designed as a half-shell that fits over the existing nose to allow for easy installation. (This nose does not replace the existing nose.) The upper edge of this nose fits into the groove below the parking lights. Manufactured in the USA from hand-laid fiberglass and easily prepped for final painting, the nose will need to be fitted to your particular chassis.
