This oil catch tank added to the PCV line is made of carbon fibre with alloy top and bottom. It serves as an effective reservoir to collect any oil that is introduced into the system and to prevent it from entering the intake. Turbocharged cars especially need an active way to remove crankcase vapours, and this helps keep the engine oil cleaner for a longer service interval.
