Air condenser & oil cooler protective screens offer vital protection for these critical engine components. Although Mazda's engineers placed these coolers in an optimal position for cooling, they left them exposed to the elements! A well placed rock, road debris, or even a small critter could fatally damage one of these coolers, leading to possible severe damage to your engine. The Racing Beat screens are ready-to-install and come complete with fully detailed installation instructions.
Installation of these units can be easily undertaken with the removal of the RX-8 nose piece. Although this sounds like a daunting task, the removal of the nose can be accomplished in just a few minutes using only simple hand tools.
