This is a long block brand new direct from Mazda, not remanufactured. This is the most desirable version of Mazda's 2.5L from a Mazda 3 for swapping into the NC Miata as it has the strong internals and is less work to swap in than some of the Ford Duratec variants.

This is NOT a direct swap kit, there is  work you need to do to swap this 2.5L motor into your NC in place of the stock 2.0L .
