Mazda RX7 1983  Memorial coin 60 years Australian Supercars

Australia’s fascination with Supercars racing began 60 years ago with the first Australian Touring Car Championship held in Gnoo Blas NSW.

In 2020 the Mint honours sixty years of ATCC champions with the release of eight coins featuring some of the most celebrated race cars to have won the iconic ATCC racing series.

These are targeted at 1983, the year when Allan Moffat managed to get the well-known Stuyvesant Mazda RX-7 first crossing the finish line in the ATCC
