MAZDA RX7 FB 1979 -1985
In production between 1978 and 1985, the first generation of the RX-7 was a 2-door sports coupe replacing the RX-3.
Powered by a Wankel engine positioned behind the front axle, this version was available with two outputs: 105 HP or 115 HP. Rear wheel drive and manual, 5-speed transmission were standard. Noteworthy specs included the 4-link rear suspension with Watt linkage and 50/50 weight ratio. The first generation of the RX-7 sold in impressive numbers, Mazda quoting figures of around 475,000 units.
