Clutch Slave Cylinder - 04/1979-82 RX-7 12A & 1984-88 RX-7 13B Non-Turbo

If you're noticing that your clutch will not engage or disengage and/or you're losing clutch fluid from the master reservoir, there's a good chance that it's time to replace the clutch slave cylinder. Locate the slave cylinder near the of the transmission, and if you can feel or see fluid in or around the rubber boot, than the seals within the slave cylinder have simply worn out..

You will need to replace either or both of these items if you are experiencing either loss of fluid, having trouble engaging gears- Note early cars have the studs onto the bulkhead at 30degrees Later cars have the studs vertical

Mazda 12A Three Piece Clutch kit made by Exedy / Number of Splines 22 / Outer Diameter 215 mm

Kit consists of Clutch Pressure Plate, Centre Plate and Release Bearing These are no longer available from Mazda however Exedy units were fitted as standard to Mazda's on the production line so this clutch is the same as an OEM unit Multi-Piece
