Adding this brace stabilizes the engine and prevents heavy G loads from affecting your otherwise crisp shifts....and your transmission will live MUCH longer! Mounts to both the right front shock tower and the right front side of the head of the engine. Nickel-plated adjusters with black powdercoated bar and mounts will look great in your engine bay. Available with street "softer" bushing to avoid any vibration transfer in your daily driver MX5.

Application NOTES: Our 2007 MX5 had issues smoothly getting into third gear when pushed hard because the motor would be so leaned over that the alignment for the gear change was altered, and this brace cured the issue entirely...this made our shifts smooth when pushing the MX5 hard.

2020 UPDATE: These used to be offered with either a hard or a soft bushing. Now, both hard and soft bushings are included in the box so you can choose what is best for you. RED is soft and BLACK is the firmer bushing.

FITMENT NOTES:
- Will not fit with shock tower braces because this item is connecting directly to the passenger side shock tower. Thus, if you have a shock tower brace please look at our RoadsterSport engine mounts as your best choice to clean up shifting smoothness.
- May require drilling/enlarging mounting holes to fit.
